Our B12 injection service is for adults aged 18 and over, after an assessment with a pharmacist. It may be suitable if you have a confirmed B12 deficiency, or if you're at risk — for example if you follow a vegan diet, have a condition that affects how B12 is absorbed, or take certain long-term medicines. Your pharmacist will check it's appropriate before any injection.
If you haven't had a low B12 level confirmed, we'll usually recommend a B12 blood test first. Symptoms like tiredness have many possible causes, and a test helps your pharmacist advise properly. You can book a B12 blood test through our blood testing service.
