Burntwood's own private clinic, inside Chasetown Pharmacy
We're an independent community pharmacy on Chasetown High Street with a private clinic room at the back. Travel vaccines, ear wax removal, blood tests and pharmacist appointments — booked locally, with free parking nearby, instead of a drive to Birmingham or Lichfield.
23 High Street, Chasetown — the pharmacy you already know
Our story
An independent Burntwood pharmacy that opened its own clinic.
Chasetown Pharmacy has looked after this end of Burntwood for years — prescriptions, advice over the counter, and the sort of questions people would rather ask a pharmacist than google at midnight.
The same questions kept coming up: where do I get my travel jabs, who can sort blocked ears, can I get a blood test without waiting weeks? The honest answer used to be a drive to Birmingham or Lichfield, time off work and parking to find. So we turned the room at the back into a proper private clinic and started doing it here instead.
Today Burntwood Clinic runs travel vaccinations, ear wax removal by microsuction, private blood tests, weight management, men's health and B12 appointments — all with a GPhC-registered pharmacist, in the pharmacy you already walk past.
We see people from right across Burntwood, including Chasetown, Chase Terrace, Boney Hay and Hammerwich — and plenty who travel in from the villages around us.

Who you'll see
You'll be seen by a pharmacist, not passed around.
Appointments at Burntwood Clinic are carried out by a GPhC-registered pharmacist. You can check any pharmacist's registration on the GPhC register before you come in.
Nimesh has more than 12 years' experience in community and clinical pharmacy and leads the clinic at Chasetown Pharmacy. He runs travel consultations, ear wax removal by microsuction and weight management appointments, and as an independent prescriber he can assess and, where it's clinically appropriate, prescribe. He's the person most Burntwood patients end up sitting down with.
Every appointment happens on site at Chasetown Pharmacy, 23 High Street, Chasetown — a GPhC-registered pharmacy (premises number 1038499), owned by Medicate Pharma Ltd.
How we work
Six things that make this a Burntwood clinic, not a call centre.
We built the clinic around what people actually ask for at the counter: to be seen locally, by someone qualified, without a fuss about what it costs.
Independent and local
We're not a chain. Chasetown Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy on Burntwood's High Street, and the people who own it are the people you'll see behind the counter.
Pharmacist prescriber led
Appointments are with a GPhC-registered pharmacist. Our superintendent pharmacist is also an independent prescriber, so assessment and any treatment decision happen in the same room.
Same-day often available
We keep appointments open for people who need to be seen quickly. Same-day isn't guaranteed and depends on availability — but it's worth a call rather than a wait.
Honest about price
You'll be told what your appointment and any treatment costs before anything goes ahead, so there's no awkward surprise at the till.
A private consultation room
Conversations happen behind a closed door, not across the counter. The clinic room is used for consultations, vaccinations, ear care and blood tests.
Easy to get to
We're on Chasetown High Street with free parking nearby — easier than a drive to Birmingham or Lichfield and a car park to pay for.
Inside the clinic
A private room at the back of the pharmacy.
Nothing about a clinic appointment should feel public. Here's exactly what it's like to come in, so there are no surprises on the day.

What happens when you walk in
1
You come in through the shop
Same front door as the pharmacy. Tell the counter you're here for a clinic appointment and we'll let the pharmacist know.
2
You wait a moment in the shop
There's seating in the pharmacy while you wait. If you'd rather not wait inside, tell us and we'll come and find you.
3
You're taken into the consultation room
A private room with the door closed — not a conversation over the counter. It's where consultations, vaccinations, ear care and blood tests happen.
4
You leave knowing what happens next
What was done, anything to look out for afterwards, what any follow-up would involve, and what it costs before anything goes ahead.
Access and getting in
The clinic is inside the pharmacy at 23 High Street, Chasetown. If you have access needs — a wheelchair, a pram, someone coming with you, or you'd rather not wait in the shop — tell us when you book or ring ahead and we'll make arrangements. [CLIENT TO CONFIRM: step-free entrance, door width and whether an accessible WC is available on site]. Call us on 01543 682921
Parking and getting here
There's free parking nearby on and around Chasetown High Street, so you shouldn't need a city-centre car park or a ticket machine. [CLIENT TO CONFIRM: the car park or street you'd tell patients to aim for, and any time limit].

Booked the day before flying to Thailand and got seen the same afternoon. The pharmacist went through exactly what I needed for the islands and didn't try to sell me anything extra. Really reassuring.

I'd left it late before a long-haul trip and they still fitted me in. Friendly, quick and talked me through what was possible in the time I had. So much easier than trying to get a GP appointment.

We're off to Morocco and weren't sure if we needed anything. They checked our old records, told us what was still in date and only recommended what made sense. Great local pharmacy.

Went in for travel advice before backpacking in Bali. Lovely, calm consultation room and they were happy to answer all my questions. Would definitely use them again.
