About this vaccine
Chickenpox tends to be more severe in adults than in children, and it can be a real problem in the middle of a long trip.
It is worth asking about if you:

Schedule
Two doses four to eight weeks apart.
Boosters
No routine booster is needed once you have had both doses.
A sore arm is common, and some people get a mild rash or a few spots one to three weeks afterwards.
This vaccine is not given in pregnancy, and pregnancy should be avoided for a month after each dose — your pharmacist will discuss this with you.
Report a suspected side effect to the MHRA Yellow Card scheme at yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk.
