What to expect when you book with us

Your sample is taken here in the clinic, and your results are reviewed and explained to you.

  • Results explained, not just emailed

The pharmacist reviews your results with you and explains what they mean for you — and what, if anything, to do next.

  • Nothing happens without your say-so

You'll know what's involved and what it costs before anything goes ahead — and you pay nothing for treatment that doesn't happen.

  • A private room, a private conversation

Appointments take place in our consultation room at Chasetown Pharmacy, away from the shop floor.

  • Easy to get to, easy to park

We're on Chasetown High Street in Burntwood, with free parking nearby — handy for Chase Terrace, Boney Hay and Hammerwich too.

Booking questions, answered

Can I change or cancel my appointment?

Yes. Call the clinic on 01543 682921 and we'll move it to a time that suits you — it's no trouble, we'd just rather know than have you not turn up. [CLIENT TO CONFIRM: how much notice we need to change or cancel]

Who will I see?

Nimesh Vansia, our Superintendent Pharmacist and Independent Prescriber, GPhC number 2086824, with over 12 years as a pharmacist. You can check any pharmacist's registration on the GPhC register. Check the GPhC register

Is my appointment private?

Yes. You're seen in our private consultation room, not at the counter. What you tell us stays with the clinic — we only share it with your GP or anyone else with your agreement, or where the law requires it.

What if I'm not suitable for the appointment I've booked?

Then the pharmacist will say so, explain why, and tell you what your options are instead. You pay nothing for treatment that doesn't go ahead.

Where do I park?

There's free parking nearby on and around Chasetown High Street. We're at 23 High Street, Chasetown, Burntwood, Staffordshire WS7 3XE — on the main road through Chasetown.

How long do results take?

Turnaround is [CLIENT TO CONFIRM: turnaround]. We'll tell you when to expect them at your appointment, and we go through them with you rather than leaving you to work them out.

Do I need to fast?

Some blood tests need fasting; we'll tell you when you book, so you know before you come.

Will you tell me what's wrong with me?

A blood test is one piece of the picture, not a diagnosis. We explain what your results show and, if anything needs following up, we'll tell you what to do and who to see.
